SUMMARY
This hotel is not aimed at the leisure market but we found it a decent choice for comfortable stay so long as you have a hire car.

LOCATION
Not the best location for a leisure trip but we had hired a car which made it a feasible choice as a base for exploring the island. It's on a new business park just off the only motorway (M2) and about 15mins drive from Port Louis. While there is no beach here the location is central enough within the island that any coast can be reached easily in a day trip. There is a free car park with ample space

FACILITIES
The hotel has a spa, swimming pool and gym. The spa is small but adequate and was quite quiet when we were there. There is a sauna and steam room and also a jacuzzi however this didn't work properly and was the biggest diappointment of our stay. The heated pool could have been much warmer. We didn't try the gym but it looked quite decent and there was a personal trainer there all of the time.

FOOD AND DRINK
There are 2 restaurants and a coffee shop. Cazzarole is the main restaurant which served lovely food at affordable prices. Definitely recommended. Adrenaline bar also served food and had an outside terrace with second bar. This proved a popular spot for local afterwork drinkers, personally we found it overpriced.

ROOM
As you'd expect from a quality chain. Nice big bed. Nice big flat screen tv. Shower could have been better as the water temperature was not consistent.
